Wall-clock time your workspace is actually running. The clock starts when your workspace is ready — not while it is being provisioned — and stops when you close it or it expires. Reading the problem, thinking, or having the tab closed costs nothing; only a live workspace does.
You cannot start a new workspace until your hours reset, but nothing is taken away. A workspace you already have running is never killed mid-session. Your allowance resets every day at midnight UTC.
Yes. Every challenge is open on every plan. Free gives you 2 challenge-hours a day, which is a challenge or two; Pro gives you 12 hours a day. The cap exists so that no account can quietly run up a compute bill, not to ration normal use.
You keep Pro until the end of the period you have already paid for, then drop back to Free's 2 hours a day. You never lose access to any challenge, your streak, your badges, or your place on the leaderboard.
Paddle, as merchant of record. They take the payment, handle VAT and sales tax wherever you are, and issue your receipt. Your card details never touch our servers.
